Why hello there!

I’m a young mother living in the beautiful state of Alaska. I’ve traveled the world and met many new and interesting people. From these encounters, I’ve found out about green and organic living. With the birth of my son, I’ve finally decided to give it a go.

I’ll admit it… I eat ice cream with high fructose corn syrup mixed in. I use a washer and a dryer (albeit energy-efficient) probably more than needed. I don’t get out for a walk or run every day, and I don’t tend to a garden.

With all this said, you might ask why I would ever put the word green in the title of this blog. Well, I’m working on being more green, that’s why! By the time I’ve gotten over this journal, I hope to have my own garden, buy locally, hand wash and dry more of my clothes (during the midnight sun, especially) and just live a healthier lifestyle in general, for me, my husband, my son and my many animals.

Throughout my life, I’ve always been interested in living a more cleaner lifestyle, eating and exercising healthy and supporting causes that I care deeply about. I’ve always pushed most of these things off to the side, until now. With the help of this blog pushing me along, and any reader that happens to pass through, hopefully I can make my life more fulfilled and make the world a better place in the process.

I invite you to join me on this journey and maybe you’ll even start an organic living revolution of your own!
